The PEI HRI will provide pre-submission grant review(s) of health research related grant applications to national peer-reviewed funding agencies, private industry, or philanthropic organizations. Note that for the CIHR Regional Partnership Program grant review is a requirement for eligibility. For all other grant applications, reviews are at the request of the researcher, subject to various deadlines. For major applications to national, peer-reviewed granting agencies (CIHR, SSHRC, NCIC, Heart and Stroke, CDA), two months lead time is required to allow for an external review. In all cases, one-to-one meetings with researchers are offered and an interactive process of revision is encouraged.
