A CONSISTENT VISUAL IDENTITY AND LOGO help to communicate the mission of the PEI Health Research Institute. The Institute's name was chosen to represent the diversity of health-related research across disciplines and across research fields of interest, from basic biological to behavioural research.

The PEI HRI logo represents individuals linked together around Prince Edward Island. It illustrates the inclusion of the research community throughout PEI . The PEI HRI is an Island-wide Institute and not a University-only Institute. It represents research being carried out in a wide range of areas including the laboratory, health agencies and the community.

Together the University of Prince Edward Island, the Government of PEI and the community unite to support and sustain the activities and capacity of health-related research on Prince Edward Island.
